GENOTROPIN Pen cartridges are available in 2 dose presentations: 5 mg and 12 mg strengths.
Patients requiring a dose of under 0.5 mg/day should use the 5 mg pen. Patients requiring a higher dose should use the 12 mg pen.
The dose range for the GENOTROPIN Pen 5 is between 0.1 and 2.0 mg.
The dose range for the GENOTROPIN Pen 12 is between 0.2 and 4.0 mg.

Indicated for the treatment of pediatric patients who have growth failure due to an inadequate secretion of endogenous growth hormone (GH).
Indicated for the treatment of pediatric patients who have growth failure due to Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). The diagnosis of PWS should be confirmed by appropriate genetic testing (see CONTRAINDICATIONS).
